How long have you been in business?
Blarney Island has been around since 1901.
What is your primary product or service?
Fun! We give people the experience of being on vacation for the day. For people of all ages seeking an escape from reality, we are an oasis of partying fun times. Live music, cold drinks, beautiful people, boats, bikinis...what more can you ask for?
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a former loyal customer of Blarney, the opportunity to own the "Greatest Boating Bar In The World" was too great to pass up.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are unique in that you can only get to the Island by boat or helicopter. We run 2 shuttle boats all day and night to transport people from our shore-based business "The Port Of Blarney" out to the Island and have parking for over 300 private boats.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 2 locations: Blarney Island and The Port of Blarney (8 acres on shore with a year-round restaurant and banquet facility as well as a marina and RV park).

We are located 3.5 miles West of Rt. 59 on Grass Lake Road in Antioch, IL. We are 10 miles from Gurnee and Six Flags Great America.
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit/debit cards...and cash of course.

Greater Chicagoland and suburbs of Milwaukee

The company is run by the Managing Partners, John Haley and Rob Hardman
