Many steps require nuance for proper execution, you may feel pressured by those who are waiting for you (notary, mortgage lender, etc) to sign a 100 page closing document, but that document will have a major impact on your finances and your life for years to come. I will be at the table to make sure you take the proper time you should to personally confirm interest rates are correct, closing costs are in line with good faith estimates, and no prepayment penalties exist.
