How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Established in 1976 by James L. McDonough and acquired by Kim N. Sherman in 1983, McDonough Mechanical Services, Inc. has earned a renowned reputation for superior mechanical and HVAC services. Mr. Sheman's experience and knowledge is the foundation on which McDonough Mechanical Services’ current success is built. Mr. Sherman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering in 1972. He had a combined 18 years of field installation and hands-on business management experience when he acquired the mechanical division from McDonough Plumbing & Heating and started McDonough Mechanical Services, Inc. Mr. Sherman continues to manage projects, estimate jobs and oversees day-to-day operations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?

1 Location. We have 25 Union trained technicians on staff.
