We have been in business for 20 plus years.

Firewood, Barbecue Smoking woods, Specialty woods, Mulches for the garden, Blended garden soil, composts,
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
At the age of 16 I started working in the firewood business and have been at it ever since. I have developed this business with a great deal of will and determination. Approximately 12 years ago I purchased the property we occupy today at 2351 N US Highway 41 and opened our retail location.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We make the best product we can. When it is raining or snowing and you want firewood we have a heated ware house to keep the wood dry and clean. Here at River Valley Gardens you can pick up as little or as much wood as you like and we will load it for you. We also deliver firewood through out all of Lake County Illinois.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 2 locations but only one retail location.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are on Route 41 just north of 21 and North of Sterns School rd. on the East side of the street. You have to be going North bound to access because of the median. We are next to the Gurnee Fuel Stop/Shell Gas Station.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash and Check
Which areas do you service?
We service all of Lake County Illinois. and parts of Wisconsin.
