How long have you been in business?
We started over 50 years ago as "The Suburban Sportsman" selling sporting goods as well as awards. The sporting goods side was sold, along with the name, by the original owner, Bob Davis. We then were renamed Awards & Engraving and continued to sell Trophies and Plaques.
What is your primary product or service?
We sell a wide range of awards. Trophies, plaques, acrylic & crystal, medals, ribbons, bronze plaques - both architectural and commemorative, advertising specialty products as well as engraving services.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In a word customization. We don't have just a standard line. Every award is built to suite the customer whether it's one little soccer trophy for a child or an award for a NFL player.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are still located in downtown Libertyville. In 1999 we moved a couple of blocks to a larger store in downtown Libertyville.

Our store is located three blocks north of Rt 176 (Park Av.)on the east side of Milwaukee Av. The cross street is Broadway, Parking is out front as well as in our own lot in rear.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, Company PO, VISA, Mastercard & Discover
Which areas do you service?
Pretty much anywhere. With the Internet, customers contact us from all over. At the last count we had awards in about 20 countries.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are privately owned and not a franchise.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday 10:00 - 5:00 Saturday 10:00 - 1:00 Closed Sundays
