How long have you been in business?
Our company was incorporated in July, 2004. We have had a working online presence since June, 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer a free product to the public and an advertising opportunity to local businesses and other organizations: (1) A free online database of live local educational events (seminars) is offered to the public, (2) A highly effective yet inexpensive advertising outlet that leverages the best aspects of the Internet is offered to local businesses and other organizations.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have had the opportunity to work closely with the Internet for many years. In those years, I became frustrated with how difficult it was to find local seminar-type education. I presumed it did not exist. After a year of research I learned that there are 12,000+ seminars offered annually in Lake County, Illinois alone! Obviously something was missing - One Stop Seminars.com
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One Stop Seminars takes advantage of all the best potential of the Internet. Our website is completely free to search and browse, and it contains no banner ads or pop-up ads. Instead of advertising your events in a way that is considered a nuisance, you should advertise in a way that makes it super easy to find you whenever someone is interested in what you offer. That's what One Stop Seminars does. You already offer seminars - now let the world know about them! We differ from other "event" websites because we specialize in educational events (seminars). We are also different because we actively recruit new, local seminar providers AND we don't just make online lists - we promote our events all over the place.

We offer advertising for local seminar events throughout Lake County, Illinois and the immediately surrounding communities.
